It’s an evolutionary development, because people with a little meat on their bones are actually *gasp* healthy, and will bear better children in hard times. Anyways. Wow. A lot of things happened in the world in my one week blogging hiatus.

Europe got fucked in the ass by a volcano.

Constance McMillen got sent by her classmates’ parents to a fake prom with special ed students while her other classmates enjoyed a real one. Oh well, because now Constance gets to go to prom in Cali, gets to lead the NYC LGBT pride parade, and will probably be known forever in history as a civil rights activist. You go girl!

The tea party pissed me off. They wouldn’t piss me off so much if they weren’t trying to shove their Christian ideals down my matzah ball lovin’ throat. Don’t these people realize that not everyone in this country is a Christian? Obviously not. Either that or they don’t care. I can’t even really touch on this subject because it will make my blood boil. Thankfully they have woefully misspelled signs which remind me that they are a small, misguided and ignorant minority. What’s strange though is that they are starting to seem like anarchists! That’s kinda scary.

So…the guy who invented boxed wine died. Now, I’m not a frequent drinker of this product, however, I do enjoy those eco pseudo box wines like so:

Invented in the 60′s, boxed wine brought wine to an affordable consumer level, because the packaging is much cheaper than glass bottles. In addition, boxed wine lasts for weeks, allowing it to be sold in larger quantities, which is more eco friendly since it uses less packaging materials. Contrarily, you have to get wasted and finish that whole bottle of Merlot in one night (I don’t know if that’s a bad thing…).

Boxed wine has a bad rap for being consumed by alchoholics and white trash…but try it…you might like it!

hm. i haven’t had anyone throw a snowball at me in years. of course, i really don’t play in the snow either, and i didn’t grow up in places with snow, so *shrug*. my first Halloween in the city, a kid threw eggs at me and hit me with one. i had to clean my jacket and backpack; it was actually kind of fortunate that it hit just in between them and didn’t get all over me. i yelled at them, but didn’t really get what the hell was going on. i later learned that egging is a New York tradition on Halloween.

ok now i want coconut water. i haven’t been back since i was a kid (12 y/o) but i remember in India there are fruit (and other) vendors who yell out their wares on the street, and carry it all on their heads in a basket. pretty badass. but like, the guys yelling ‘daaaaab’ are selling green coconuts, which they will use a machete to cut a hole in, give you a straw, and when you finish drinking they cut you a spoon off the outer parts and cut the whole thing in half, revealing delicious young coconut softness. this is maybe one of the best memories of India i have.

well, i guess two stories is enough for a first message. say hi if you like; i’m open to hanging out, meeting up, etc. but i figure on exchanging messages first; that seems to be the usual pattern.

Sex is expensive. Tiger Woods apparently paid mistress #1, Rachel Uchitel, 10 million bucks to shut her trap!

Tiger could have avoided all this flack (and payout) if he had just never gotten married and embraced his bad boy lifestyle. I mean really, from a PR standpoint, how awesome would it have been. He could have been the Lady Gaga of Golf. Or rather, the Lindsey Lohan of Golf? Whatever, you get my point.
